Testimony of an Apostle part 3

-We are, again introduced by a 1:03 length of music combined with various phrases.

-Maria vonAnderseck starts out as the host.

-Maria vonAnderseck at 2:11- "In the next two videos we're going to look at the signs and wonders of apostle Eric's calling to understand God's election of the chief steward of the 2nd 8th week, the ket God is using to bring the church through the door of transition. As we would expect, the testimony of God's choosing is filled with angelic visitations, dreams, and visions. This testimony stands in the power of God, for the God of our Lord Jesus Christ has put a sign on this calling to purge the weeks. To take the church from the 6th week to the 2nd 8th week." Again, the listener is built up to expect some type of example of signs and wonders. The previous two videos were sorely lacking any of these things, but we're specifically told that these two videos will demonstrate for us finally, the signs and wonders which the Lord has or is performing through Eric as a demonstration of his calling to apostle. Since Eric is claiming to be "Chief Apostle", we can only expect some truly amazing signs and wonders to be present through his ministry.

-At 4:09 Eric begins his narrative: "The year 1951 the testimony of God upon my life begins in heaven. I was the 10th person standing in a line of spirits. Angels were busy preparing souls for their existence. God said, "Who will go for Me?" I felt compelled to volunteer. "I'll go!" A very large angel took me out of the line and up to the front. God said, "I will use him in the last days." I turned to the angel, which brought me to the gate and asked..... "Will you let me remember this?" "Yes, you shall remember this and prosper."" In the beginning of Eric's testimony, we are presented with something which is very unclear. Is this portion of Eric's testimony a vision which he had at some point in his life? Was he born with this memory and had it since his birth? Then we have something which is downright problematic. Is there any Scriptural reference to anyone in the Scriptures having a 'prebirth' revelation? Are the Scriptures, Jer. 1:5 and Is. 6:8, really bearing witness ot the validity of Eric's experience or is he using them to shore up the validity of his 'Pre-birth revelation'?

-Eric vonAnderseck at 7:40- "In 1971 I had this vision, a confirmation of apostolic calling. My prayer that night, "How shall I serve you Lord?" It was a cloudless night and I saw the features of the moon clearly. I looked into the night sky; the moon changed to a perfect white circle, which shone with unnatural brilliance. Around the moon were twelve stars. This vision stayed for several minutes. I later found this in the Bible: Genesis 37:9. This symbolism represents a sign of stewardship (as in Joseph's case) and God's plan to restore Apostolic Governance." One of the pitfalls which is inherent to symbolic dreams and visions is that of interpretation. A person can truly receive a communication from God and misinterpret it or misapply it. Great care should always be taken in interpretations because one's flesh can have a way of twisting things. For instance, those who have an underlying need for vindication or status can interpret a vision through that sort of lense. A person who doesn't examine themselves can see a blessing when in actuality they are being sent a warning. In this case, I would say that Eric's interpretation that this vision is a confirmation of his calling is a great stretch at best and at worst a completely different message which he interpreted through his flesh.

-Eric vonAnderseck at 12:32- "One of the inmates challenged me to a fight. I was still in Jesus' body; I waved my arm and said, "Fight with these!" Instantly he was was clothed in armour and stood amazed. By this we learn that through sanctified stewardship God restores the priesthood." Again, interpretation is the key. Does this really convey the message which Eric claims it does or is Eric stretching it to mean what he wants it to mean?

-Eric vonAnderseck at 15:07 Eric spoke about a dream in which the Lord showed him a large institution of learning and told him that this represented the church, the established religious system. It's ironic that the very corruption which Eric describes is the very same thing which Eric is adding to and promoting! Please see Eric's 'school' which his 8th week ministries promotes.

-From 19:22 to the end of the video (24:02) the viewer is subjected to various verses of Scripture, pieces of Scripture (meaning parts of sentences cut and paste together to make a point, and other catch phrases designed to give the appearance of godliness and spirituality. Something else I noticed was the specific use of music at certain points of the rpesentation designed to ellicit an emotional response. Justlike in the movies, when the director wants an audience to be frightened or excited or expectant, a type of style of music is played at a certain level to maximize the emotional response. This is very subliminal and very carnal, designed to help sooth a persons discernment.

-At the end of this video the viewer is left with, "The Apostles and Elders of the Second 8th Week support this message." Very ironic, because they are all chosen and appointed by Eric.

I am loathe to call into question a persons experience. Most especially when I wasn't there. I'd like to say that there are many things which ring true in Eric's testimony. But at the same time there are things which raise huge red flags and are reminiscent of another 'prophet/apostle' who expereinced an angelic visitation. His name was Muhammed, in addition to the, at best , questionable interpretations which Eric has come to.

Another questions and point which must be raised is what happened to the signs and wonders which God has doen through Eric to testify to his calling? Again, we are left hanging as to what these things may be. It's beginning to seem even more likely that we are never going to be told what types of signs and wonders God has granted through Eric. But, maybe we'll finally be given some descriptions in the final part of the series.

Another question which has to be asked concerning the prophecies which Eric claims the Lord gave to him: Does the Lord speak to Eric in 'Old English' or 'King James'? Or is it a mixture which Eric is sharing? What if the very prophecies which Eric was sharing were actually messages which our Lord was directing towards Eric himself?

 A voice is calling,

 "Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness;
  Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.
  Let every valley be lifted up,
  And every mountain and hill be made low;
  And let the rough ground become a plain,
  And the rugged terrain a broad valley;
  Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed,
  And all flesh will see it together;
  For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."
